Dear Chloe
Let me introduce you to our latest arrival here in the North Pole ... Popcorn the Puppy. Isn’t he cute? But he’s trouble alright ... he’s been chasing the reindeer, eating all the candy canes and getting into such a tangle in the elves workshop amongst the ribbons and wrapping paper! But we wouldn’t change him for the world!
Now then, I’m sure you’re as excited about Christmas as Popcorn is, and you haven’t too long to wait.
I’ve been checking my list and sure enough I see you’ve been very well behaved this past year which is excellent for a girl of 10 years old. You’re certainly on course for receiving the skate board which you’ve been wishing for.
My Chief Elf Mistletoe is also very impressed with how well you have been doing recently. Doing well in your maths test, working hard at your spellings and being a good sister. Well done Chloe, keep up the good work! You make your Mummy and Daddy extremely proud!
Right now, I’m sitting at my desk with a tasty cup of Mrs Claus’s special hot chocolate trying to warm up after a day in the snow, exercising the reindeer and preparing the sleigh for the long journey ahead on Christmas Eve. And you live in Surrey, don’t you? That’s a long, long trip from the North Pole. I sure hope you leave a carrot or two for the reindeer and some mince pies for me would be just the ticket ... I’ll be very hungry when I arrive at your home!
Well my work is never done, so I will say goodbye for now. Be sure to let your best friend Ellie B know that I will soon be on my way.
